Badrinath blog-2

Hey guys, I’m back with badrinath blog and this is part 2

6 JUNE :

We spent our whole day in Badrinath only, we had our darshans and did a bit of shopping from Rudraksh emporium,Badrinath. For those who do not want to stay there can also visit Mana village, the last village of India, which is 2-3 km from Badrinath.

7 JUNE :

we planned to leave today morning so, we decided to leave early in the morning because of the major traffic problem, so we decided to leave around 5 in the morning but still, we faced a lot of traffic because there were so many tourists coming and many more leaving at the same time so it took us almost 45 mins to leave Badrinath. We then took darshans at hanuman chhati and then we took a break amd had our breakfast at Indralok, Pipalkoti, the same place where we had our lunch on 5th June. After our breakfast, we left Pipalkoti and headed toward Haridwar. we stopped at Srinagar and then had our lunch around 3 o clock. Then we drove non stop till Haridwar and had our dinner at chotiwala restraunt in Haridwar and then went to our Hotel roooms. At Haridwar we stayed at Shiv Dham which provides a comfortable stay at affordable prices and also provides tasty food, Food here is served between a specific time period.

8 JUNE :

We started our day around 5 AM in the morning and went to holy river Ganga, after that we had our breakfast at Mohanji puri wale where we had one of the tastiest aloo puri in Haridwar.

We then left Haridwar and then made our next stop at namaste midway which is a complex with outlets of many fast food chains like Subway and McDonalds and also restaurants like Haldiram for those who want to eat main course. There is also a shop there to do shopping (Pro tip : avoid taking your wife or sister there)

Our next stop was at Jain shikanji (original) at Modinagar where we had mouth watering aloo chaat with tasty shikanji. After having some refreshing shikanji we stopped at gang neher restraunt where we ate tasty kulfis, this was our last stop before reaching Delhi.

we then reached delhi around 5 in the evening.

This trip was full of beautiful scenery which is a must mention. The perfect time to visit Badrinath is from start of june till mid june because after this you won’t be able to see glaciers which would melt after mid month due to the increasing temperature.

Also to attend any of the aartis or any other puja there, there is a rate list for all the pujas and aartis which you can collect from the counter.
