Just a week ago Samsung teased their premium flagship contender the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, both the devices are available for pre-ordering on all online portals and will be officially launched on 23th of August, but before you move your fingers close to pre-order button, here are few things that you need to know.
First the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, have total of three colour variants to choose from Aura Black, Aura White and Aura Glow. Black and White are pretty standard colours, while Aura Glow brings a whole new look, trust me on this one when you will see that colour transition, you will definitely want to hold that device in your hands.
Now let us begin with specifications of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus.
Samsung is using the newly launched Exynos 9825 in this phone, it is made using 7nm technology which makes it more efficient in term of power consumption while processing. Its Octa core features 2× Mongoose core, 2× Cortex A75 and 4× Cortex A55 clocked at 2.7GHz, with Mali-G76 MP12 as Graphic Processing Unit.
Both of devices come with Dynamic AMOLED, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with screen resolution 2280 × 1080 pixel and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 6.8 QHD+ display with screen resolution of 3040 × 1440 pixel. Maximum brightness goes up to 1,308 nits, so outdoors are no problem. Note 10 Plus’s Display has been rated the best OLED till date.
Both Note 10 and Note 10 Plus feature triple camera setup consisting of 12MP + 12MP + 16MP, the main snapper is of 12MP that has variable aperture ranging from f/1.5-2.4 so it can also act as a wide angle, second sensor of 12MP is a telephoto one and third 16MP is ultra wide angle camera. But in Note 10 Plus you will also get a bonus TOF (Time of-flight) camera also called as DepthVision Camera which will help in you 3D imaging.
On the front you only get a 10MP camera with aperture of f/2.2, I know this may not seem like much but trust Samsung on this,
RAM and Storage –
Starting from 8GB of RAM in Galaxy Note 10 it goes up to 12GB in Galaxy Note 10 Plus, minimum storage space offered is of 256GB and it doubles that is 512GB when you opt for the top model.
Operating system and Unique features –
This device runs of Android Pie 9, and UI is clean as expected from Samsung.
Some of unique features that I see are, yes the hole punch or as Samsung likes to call it Infinity-O is present on the devices, its much smaller than its predecessors and now sits in the centre of screen, which makes sense for selfie but will take a bit of screen there during your video sessions.
It also comes with a Pen and it allows you to use Air Actions or simply put gesture control, pen has unibody design so it is not going to break easily.
The Galaxy Note 10 comes with a price tag of ₹69,999 and Base version of Galaxy Note 10 Plus with ₹79,999 and the Top model is of ₹89,999.
In my opinion the pricing is fair given the features offered, not only it sits in top of scores of OLED screen but also dethroned Huawei from the top spot in Camera. So, if you are looking for stunning display with amazing camera in premium range then this is the phone for you, for now.
