Actors such as-

Interested in Political History,
Want to know the reason of Lal Bahadur Shashtri death,
You don’t follow pathetic critics
Film opens up with the age-old formula of a journalist (Shweta Prasad) on the last straw to keep the job while looking for scoop gets intrigued by the mystery surrounding the death of Lal Bahadur Shashtri, our second Prime Minister in Tashkent during 1966 hence the name Tashkent files.
Apparently the article causes a major stir up, leading to formation of a committee including six member the lead by the head of some political party (Mithun Chakraborty) and a historian some other and our protagonist, that delve further to unmask the truth.
One thing you need to remember is, this movie is a political thriller and the director had to make lot of editing as not to get caught into any political turmoil so that affects the story telling it takes away some of the flow, but still it will give a whack by the end you will ponder, “Who Killed Shashtri?”
Also a reason to review this movie is to send out the truth, because it is not bad as it shown across the remaining of major critic press, they seemed to be too biased to not let this piece reach the audience by giving 0.5 and 1 stars diminishing the credibility as still more than 80% people book tickets on basis of reviews.
I will give it 3.5/5 ratings. Its a must watch.
